You Are Not Alone.
Even when we appreciate and notice the incredible beauty in our lives, it doesn’t mean we don’t struggle also. This is something that we feel most often. That we are alone. When we are on the struggle bus we get this feeling that it's just us, No one else has to deal with this, I am the only one that has this… The negative narrative that goes along with being in a tough place is real.
Struggles do not mean you are broken, unworthy, or failing. Please hear this and really take it in,
There is NOTHING wrong with you.
This is how life has its EBB and FLOW. We must go through the struggles in order to elevate ourselves, to learn and grow. It is all part of the journey.
Your power and control lies in how you handle them, what you do with them.
Intentionally noticing them and being present with them. How you respond to them leads to different results, rather than indulging in them and staying stuck. This is where you can start to rewrite the story of how they can play out, how you can walk through them with the flow not against the current.
For most of us this takes:
Willingness to ask for help
Willingness to change
A beginners Mind Set
A willingness to invest in yourself
Seeing the cost of what it would if you stay stuck
I heard this alarming statistic the other day that only 5% of the population works on themselves and puts an effort into personal development.
When you intentionally start working on yourself, shifting your mind and thoughts, and seeing the world in a different light your world starts to change in ways you could only imagine. Your struggles start to lessen, you see things differently.
Life is still an EBB + FLOW but you start to get unstuck from the same process. The ruts start to fill in so you can see the light more and more each time. The possibilities of life are more present in your world.
COACHING and MINDFULNESS are tools, the more tools that you have in your tool box the easier life is to navigate. This helps you to change your thoughts. To see things with a wider lens than what your brain is allowing you.
