Wellness Journey

About 2 decades ago I started on this journey to be more Conscious of my overall health and wellness. Holy heck was it ever nerve racking. I had no idea where to even begin. It felt very overwhelming. I started taking steps, learning as I went along. I made some really good moves, some very exhausting moves (I actually attempted at one time to make our own products ), some very expensive moves and some terrible ones. During this time we started on a journey of gut health when my daughter started having excruciating pains in her abdomen. Very scary, many doctors and ER visits. Learning how toxins affect our gut was such an eye opener. It really propelled me into this journey to be more holistic overall.

I am so passionate to share the things that I have learnt over the last 2 decades. To help people have a shorter process. Eliminating some of the mistakes and costly challenges that We had along the way. Toxins in our products can cause all sorts of issues throughout our bodies. When you are suffering from rashes, eczema, acne, bloat, brain fog, tiredness, etc , these are all signs your body is screaming out to you to help it out. To change some stuff up cause what you are doing is not working.

We use hundreds of products in, on and around our bodies every single day. Most of us have had so much faith in the companies, advertising, availability at big box stores that their ingredients are safe for you to be around or use. The reality of it is most companies are about the bottom dollar, not their customers health and well-being. We are making ourselves sick by just trying to live. How you are feeling can be changed by simply paying attention to ingredients that you are using around you, on you, that you are ingesting, listening to, or people you are around.

I am always getting“I don’t even know where to start. It’s all so overwhelming.” The very first step that needs to happen is you have to get truthful with yourself with what you are actually putting into your system. We all think we know, myself included in this but the reality is when you don’t get clear and truthful you miss a lot of the things in your world that are not serving your body, mind, and soul.

I always guide my clients in getting clear on this. A super easy way is to make a list of everything that you eat, use in, on, or around yourself, what you consume for your mind(Like TV, Social Media, Reading, People you are around). They feel overwhelmed by all the information, by all the products, by all the ingredients, by all the lies the world says. There is so much miss information out there. I totally got it when I was there. It was a lot. The Best place to always start is to start small.

Little swaps make big changes…

A new study led by researchers at UC Berkeley found that even a THREE day switch to safer products, better foods, shifting mindset showed significant DECREASE in hormone disrupting chemicals in our bodies. Swapping to a healthier alternative doesn’t have to be overwhelming, stressful, or even expensive. Transitioning to a low toxin lifestyle is a journey and is not one you should put pressure on yourself to achieve all at once.

Seriously though it has taken me years to get to where we are just because I have swapped slowly as I learn more. This is why I am so passionate about helping people that are starting their journey. I don't want it to take you as long as it took me. As you swap one item out at a time, one food out at a time, my unhealthy habit out at a time, it's likely you will begin seeing huge improvements in your overall health. Take it one day, and one product, one food, one unhealthy habit at a time and soon you'll be full of knowledge + feeling so much better in your world.

Things to know about 𝙱𝙾𝙳𝚈 𝙰𝙻𝙸𝙶𝙽𝙼𝙴𝙽𝚃 𝙲𝙾𝙰𝙲𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙶

1) 𝙰𝙲𝙲𝙾𝚄𝙽𝚃𝙰𝙱𝙸𝙻𝙸𝚃𝚈 - We are so easy to let ourselves down or not set out to what we set our minds and souls to because the fears and the comfortable sets in. We listen to what our brain is telling us instead of our souls so we stop.

2) 𝙶𝚄𝙸𝙳𝙰𝙽𝙲𝙴 - When we are stuck in our own worlds we can’t see what someone else can by looking in and asking the right questions. No matter how hard we try, sometimes we can’t find the way.

3) 𝙺𝙽𝙾𝚆𝙻𝙴𝙳𝙶𝙴 - Someone who has been through it, has seen many people go through it, done the research and lived it. They can find the path of the least resistance. Remove some of that trial and error that makes us quit.

4) 𝚁𝙴𝙻𝙰𝚃𝙰𝙱𝙻𝙴 - That person that you can fully be open to with no judgment. That person you can just talk to about what you are feeling and seeing. That one person that will show you that you need some work on A, B or C in a way that doesn’t hurt you.

5) 𝙿𝙴𝙰𝙲𝙴 - Knowing that someone else has been through it. Knowing you are not alone on your journey and that there is nothing broken about you!
